Q. How important is it to have a mentor?

 A. Having a Mentor would be awesome.   I love the power of knowledge and learning something constantly.  I don't have a personal Mentor, but on a daily basis I have a few Business Minded individuals I pay attention to and I'm learning a great deal...

 Q. Being in the fashion industry.. How do you feel about the representation today, from the runway, editorials, etc.?

 A. Being affiliated with this Fashion Industry is challenging. There’s nothing greater than being able to speak with likeminded people openly, that you share the same interest and desires with....especially someone that's seasoned...

 Q. What advice would you give to someone who wants to open a boutique or start a business?

 A. Fashion is fun for me...owning a Fashion BOO-tique is a lot more than investing money to purchase merchandise. It take a lot of research, knowing your target market and your clients...so you're not just purchasing clothing, but able to see a return...and know it's not as easy as calling someone in the business and thinking their going tell you everything you need to know...

 Q. What's next for Sty'lin?

 A. Lately I've been all over the place...right now, I’m trying to build a network in Richmond and Atlanta...so between that and my Custom Collection I'm stay busy.
